Ah ... it's a beautiful time of year, isn't it? There's nothing quite like summer especially after such a long wait. No matter your favourite pastime, be it enjoying nature, browsing the shops, taking part in an outdoor activity or relaxing at a great local coffee shop or eatery, Cochrane has something to offer. And deliver it does, too ... all with the spectacular backdrop of green spaces and the Rocky Mountains.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Stockmen’s Memorial Foundation. A non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to preserving the agricultural history of Western Canada, the Foundation plays a large role in conserving our western heritage and culture.
Speaking of history, it is our ongoing goal to entertain and inform those of you who have been here a while – perhaps your whole lives – and those who are just beginning your 'history' with Cochrane.
Whether your relationship with Cochrane is a long one or only just starting, COCHRANEConnects is here to help you along the way with insightful stories about our town and its people.
Natural beauty, personality, culture, innovation, heritage ... Cochrane has it all.
Till next time, happy reading!
